Frequently Asked Questions
Why Work With a Business Coach?
By working with a business coach, a business owner gets more than just advice; they get a trusted partner in their journey, with guidance that’s tailored to their specific needs and challenges. The coach’s role is to offer support and encouragement, enabling the business owner to step out of their comfort zone to find clarity and implement systems and strategies that will allow the business to not only survive but flourish.
A business Coach helps business owners to:-
- Gain clarity in decision-making to avoid impulsive decisions that could negatively affect the business.
- Assist with budgeting, managing cash flow and developing financial strategies to improve profitability and long-term financial health.
- Help identify the business owner's limiting beliefs and reframe them into empowering thoughts to help them cultivate a mindset of growth, resilience, and abundance.
- Create strategies and business plans to meet the specific needs and challenges of the business.
- Improve their leadership skills helping to create a team culture that fosters collaboration, inclusion, motivation and high performance.
- Improve productivity, implement systems to reduce waste, improve production flow, improve quality and safety using LEAN methodologies.
- Help identify new opportunities for business growth and development either by improving the existing marketing strategies, expanding into new markets or creating of new products and or services.
- By having a business coach, it can offer an outside perspective that can help owners to view problems from a new angle and then come up with innovative solutions. Helps the business owners think outside the box when problem-solving or wanting clarity on a certain issue.
- By having a business coach, it helps to keep the owner accountable to execute the strategies and plans that are needed to grow the business. Lack of strategy execution can prevent the business from moving forward.
- Emphasise the importance of personal well-being. It is vitally important to take care of the business, but it is equally important for the business owner to take care of themselves. A business coach guides owners on how to manage stress, teaches them the art of delegating, which creates more time for themselves to do the things that they enjoy outside of work.
A well-balanced business owner is more likely to lead a thriving business when they are at their best, both physically and mentally.
What is a Discovery Session?
Our first meeting would be a free two-hour “Discovery Session”. Like a GP consult. We ask lots of questions. If there is pain, we want to discover how to treat the cause, not the symptoms.
We look at the financial viability of the business so we can work out strategies to improve cash flow and profitability, ensuring long-term financial health.
We help to define the business owner’s goals, develop a road map, and provide focus. By refining the owner’s mission, vision and values, we can ensure that every decision is aligned with the business’s greater purpose.

What Makes You Different From Other Business Coaches?
As a previous Founder and Director of a manufacturing company, I know first-hand the challenges business owners face running a business. After 32 years, our business was successfully sold. With my personal experience, I understand what business owners go through. They work long hours, stressed, staff challenges, cashflow issues, limited time for family and friends and even when they take holidays, they take their work with them. I know… I have been there! However, I want to help other business owners to realise that there is another way! This is why I have become a business coach. To help others to achieve success without the burn-out and stress. To show them ways of doing, that leads to a more balanced and fulfilled life, whilst at the same time achieving their business growth and success.
I am a Certified Business Advisor, also a member of an International Organisation, Institute of Advisors. I have access to methodologies, systems and processes that are being used by thousands of businesses globally.
We are a network of Business Advisors, working towards the same goals. Helping other businesses to achieve their business success.
What is the Investment or Cost Involved in Your Coaching / Advisory Services?
Pricing varies depending on the scope and duration of coaching. I provide packages and flexible options, but a minimum 3-month contract is required to start, after which we can continue further. A fixed monthly fee is paid in advance. Initially, we work on the most challenging firefighting issue first. What I inevitably find is that business owners focus on too many critical priorities all at once. I work with my clients to focus on 1 – 2 pain points at a time and solve it in 30 - 90-day sprints. During this time, we work together as required. This would typically involve two half day meetings to develop our strategies moving forward, one on-site meeting per month (if required), (not including our initial half day meetings), a fortnightly teams catchup to monitor progress and keep you accountable, and unlimited phone availability during working hours. If I am unavailable, you would leave a message, and I would get back to you as soon as possible. Flexibility is key.
Let’s discuss your needs to find the best fit.
